The News Minute | November 3, 2014 | 1.25 pm ISTOrganizers of the Kiss of Love on Monday faced another problem. Their Facebook page Kiss of Love which had got more than 70,000 likes has surprisingly disappeared. One of the event organizers Rahul Pasupathy told The News Minute that the page was hacked by someone. Other pages that had been used by the organizers have also been hacked, Rahul said. He also said that his team has submitted a written complaint to Facebook. However, media channels in Kerala report that the page might have been pulled down by Facebook after it received many “spam” notices. A new community has, however, now been started in Facebook by the organizers. The Facebook page of the Pink Chaddi Campaign, a similar one that was started in 2009 to oppose the Sri Ram Sena members had undergone a similar fate. Their Facebook page through which they operated had gone missing. After much noise, the event “Freedom to express love” popularly known as Kiss of Love had gotten over on Sunday. Whilst fifty to seventy people came to the event to show support, thousands of people gathered to mark their protest against the event and to ensure that the “expression of love” does not happen. The police detained the Kiss of Love protesters to prevent any untoward incident.
