Chiranjeevi’s next film to be biopic of Andhra freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy

There were reports floating in Tollywood that Chiranjeevi’s 151st film will be based on the life of Rayalaseema freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy but there was no official word as such. 

However, actor Srikanth recently confirmed that the megastar’s next will be the biopic on the legendary freedom fighter.

Srikanth had recently hosted a television show covering the life and history of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and during this show he is reported to have said that the megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film will be the biopic. 

Sources have said that the biopic may be directed by Surendhar Reddy and produced by Chiranjeevi’s son and actor Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company.

Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy revolted against the British a decade before the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and was hung to death. 

Chiranjeevi will be playing the legendary character and is in the process of transforming his looks to suit the role.

Details about the star cast and crew of this period film is expected to be out soon. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is busy hosting the game show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu – season 4 on television.
