The multi-faceted artist Simbu, currently basking in the success of “Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada”, has always had great interest in music.

He has proved his singing prowess on many occasions with chartbusters such as ‘Loosu Penne’, ‘En Aasai Mythiliae’ and ‘Evan Di Unna Pethan’.

However, for the first time in his career, he has donned the hat of a music composer at the behest of his close friend Santhanam for the latter’s film “Sakka Podu Podu Raja”. 

On Sunday, when Santhanam announced the news on Twitter, Simbu’s fans went into frenzy.

Seeking blessing from his fans on his new journey, Simbu wrote that he agreed to turn composer only for Santhanam whom he had launched over a decade ago in his film, “Manmadhan”.

Interestingly, the film is being produced by actor VTV Ganesh, another close confidante of Simbu, and it also co-stars Vivekh.

This is the first time that Vivekh and Santhanam are sharing screen space.

Vaibhavi Shandilya and Sanjana Singh have been roped in as the leading ladies.

Santhanam has already started shooting for the project, which is tipped to be another comic entertainer.
