Reporter asks Google for comment, receives GIF in 'official response'

The News Minute | March 26, 2015 | 03:00 pm IST The Daily Dot on March 24 carried a report on how Google-owned YouTube is planning to relaunch its livestreaming services with a focus on live gaming and esports.When The Daily Dot asked a YouTube rep for a comment on the story, the latter sent an animated GIF as the organisation's response. Regarding the reply, the newspaper in an update wrote, "We assumed it was a joke. Earlier today, the rep assured us it was not. "The GIF really was our official response," he wrote.
