The News Minute | September 8, 2014 | 12:09 pm ISTA fourteen-year-old boy from Florida was handcuffed and arrested recently when he refused to go to school. The boy, a student of R.J. Murray Middle School, was arrested when his mother called the police when he refused to go to class, states a report by TheWashington Times. The mother told a St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputy that she had taken away her son's cellphone along with his laptop and internet connection, but he still refused to go to school, states the report. The boy however said that he wanted to go to school in New York, from where his family moved recently. When warned that the he could be arrested for obstruction of justice, the boy said: “Do what you gotta do. I’m not going to school.”After the arrest, the boy was sent to the custody of the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice and finally released to his mother.
