Following the release of the first-look motion poster, the makers of popular Kollywood actor Ajith’s upcoming movie Valimai released the lyrical video of the first single ‘Naanga Vera Maari’ on Monday. The song marks 30 years of Ajith in the film industry. Ajith sports a casual and stylish look in the lyrical video, while it also features glimpses from the shoot. The motivational track is sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anurag Kulkarni, and written by Vignesh Shivan.
The first-look motion poster was unveiled on July 11. Ajith sports a rugged look in the first-look motion poster of Valimai. It also featured the lines “Power is a state of mind.” The video had garnered several million views on YouTube within two days of its release. The motion poster shared by Sony South, Bayview and Zee Studios, collectively received over 10 million views.
In order to celebrate the success of its reception, a poster featuring Ajith as a biker, was released from the Twitter handle of DONE Channel (a celebrity management firm). The post was retweeted by producer Boney Kapoor.
Following the release of the motion poster, Boney Kapoor posted a tweet extending his gratitude to everyone from the Valimai team, as well as fans. Boney Kapoor wrote, “Overwhelmed by the response. I would like to thank entire cast, crew n associates for their sincerity in making #Valimai special. Also a big thank you to all of you for making today #ValimaiDay. #Ajithkumar #HVinoth @SureshChandra #NiravShah @thisisysr #PowerisStateofMind (sic)," Boney Kapoor tweeted.
Fans cannot wait for the makers to announce more updates about the film after persistently asking for updates online, as well as in other events such as cricket matches and political campaigns, which were not related to the film.
