Swedish State Television Documentary on Bofors India

The Bofors India Howiter deal was part of this prime-time series. Chitra Subramaniam was a key investigator in this 10-year drama (1987-1997) that unfurled in Sweden, Switzerland and India. The investigation contributed to the electoral defeat of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. It also led to a protracted court-battle in Switzerland culminating in secret Swiss bank documents detailing the bribes being handed over to Indian authorities.The News Minute (TNM) bring you this documentary in the original language, Swedish.
