Modi approves allocation of IAS officers between Telangana and AP clearing logjam

The News Minute | December 25, 2014 | 7:50 am ISTPrime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday signed the file pertaining to the allocation of IAS, IPS and IFoS officers between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ending all uncertainity.According to a report in the Times of India, Modi seems to have approved the guidelines recommended by the Pratyush Sinha Committee and it is also expected that the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will issue the provisional list on December 26The process which had been in a logjam for six months since the two states split, may have finally been cleared.
