The News Minute | December 5, 2014 | 12.30 pm ISTOn Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao suprised everyone by paying a sudden visit to the US consulate. Speculation is rife that the Chief Minister could be soon making a trip to the United States of America, reported the Times of India. The chief minister had earlier visited Singapore in August. He completed the necessary formalities required for a  diplomatic visa including fingerprints for biometric identity.Although the official representative of Telangana government in New Delhi claimed it was a just a routine visit to obtain a visa, sources informed TOI that the chief minister may be planning a trip to the country in January. The trip however may not be immediate as the state is required to propose its first state budget in the assembly before February 28, 2015.
