KCR to meet Modi in Delhi to discuss post bifurcation issues

The News Minute | December 5, 2014 | 7:55 am ISTTelangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a one on one meeting in Delhi during a two day visit to the country’s capital on Friday.According to a report in the Times of India, Modi called a meeting of chief ministers, which KCR will also attend to get their opinion on the new body to be formed after abolishing the existing Planning Commission following which the PM plans to interact personally with the chief ministers. KCR aims to find an amicable solution to the huge number of problems that have risen between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh post bifurcation, and solve the severe power crisis that the state is facing. KCR is also expected to meet Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy Piyush Goel.Read: Modi to kick start “Telangana Bachao” campaign?
