The Hyderabad high court on Thursday ordered the University of Hyderabad (UoH) to ensure that the advocate for one of the students of the university, has no trouble visiting the campus to meet his client.

A report in The New Indian Express adds:

Justice PV Sanjay Kumar made the observation when the counsel for Prashanth, a respondent to writ petitions filed by university vice-chancellor P Appa Rao and others, complained that the university security prevented him from entering the campus.

The VC's counsel responded saying that the incident occurred due to a communication gap between the administration and the security personnel and suggested that the advocate should inform the university about his visit to the campus in advance.

The court did not want to comment on the situation on the campus and said that such complaints should not come again, the report added.
