Tamil newspaper gets threatened of 'Charlie Hebdo' like attack

The News Minute | January 28, 2015 | 09.20 am ISTA popular Tamil newspaper has received a letter from an unknown outfit threatening it of an attack similar to the one conducted on satirical French magazine, Charlie Hebdo magazineThe letter received through post reads “ Yesterday - Paris Charlie Hebdo, Tomorrow - Dinamalar.”It was sent by unidentified elements calling themselves “The Base Moment” said to be based at "3/10, Ukkadam, Kovai, Tamil Nadu, India.” reported PTI. The map also contained the background of India’s map along with a picture of Osama Bin Laden and the words “By al-Qaida” written on it.The police was unaware if the actions were perfumed by a fictitious outfit or by someone who had some other motive, said officials.
