Six DMDK MLAs suspended for 10 days in next session too

The News Minute| April 1, 2015|  09.19 am ISTAfter 19 DMDK MLAs were evicted from the Tamil Nadu state assembly on February 19, six of them were suspended for an additional 10 days in the next session too.The decision was passed based on the recommendations made by Privilege Committee taking into considerations the ruckus in the House on February 19, reported PTI. After a verbal duel with the ruling AIADMK MLAs, the DMDK MLAs had allegedly damaged the Speaker’s podium. The six MLAs are already under suspension in the current session, however a decision extending their suspension uptil 10 days in the next session was administered. According to Speaker, Dhanapal, the suspended MLAs would not be eligible for their salaries and other entitlements during the period. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
