Man's head chopped off, placed outside his house in Madurai

The News Minute| January 20, 2015| 10.45 am ISTA 48- year old man’s head was chopped off and placed outside his house entrance in a gruesome revenge killing by a three-member gang. The murder which has created fear in the Melakkal village in Madurai is said to have been done to avenge the killing of a woman and her daughter by the murdered man B Muniyandi two yeas back, reported Times of India.Attacked and murdered in full public view, he was then beheaded and then and kept at his house entrance a few kilometres away, said the report.The prime accused in the murder Velmurugan had confronted Muniyandi and then attacked him along with his two accomplices, said the report. The murdered man Muniyandi had in 2013, murdered V Chellammal and her daughter M Murugeswari.
