Karunanidhi on campaign trail from April 23: Here is the full schedule

DMK on Tuesday announced that party chief M Karunanidhi will begin his campaign for the upcoming state elections on 23rd April from the Saidapet constituency in Chennai.

The nonagenarian will embark on a 15-day campaign trail and will address over 35 meetings across various constituencies of Tamil Nadu according to the party statement released on Tuesday.

The veteran leader will also be campaigning for his party candidates in Pondicherry, later on 23rd evening.

The DMK supremo will be addressing gatherings at Thanjavur, Thiruchirapalli, Perambalur amon other constituencies in the district, in the last week of April.

A press release by the DMK headquarters also reveals that Karunanidhi will be travelling overnight by train to Thirunalvelli, where he is scheduled to address a rally on 1st May, coinciding with the Labour Day.

Karunanidhi will also be campaigning at Thiruvilliputtur and Virudunagar in the first week of May, and is slated to address a public gathering in Madurai on 3rd May.

While he will be addressing rallies in the Dharmapuri district in the second week of May, he will conclude his out station campaign with a rally address in Thiruvarur, the constituency from where he will be contesting the elections.
