Chennai police filed a complaint against actor Pandiarajan’s son for flying a drone on Sunday night in Mylapore without getting permission, reports Times of India.

Pandiarajan’s son, Premarajan (23) had requested last year for permission to fly a drone but the police had denied the permission. On Sunday night, a security guard informed a team of police which was patrolling in the area and the police found Premarajan and his friends flying a drone. However, the police checked the drone and did not find any camera inside the drone. Police told that they were flying the drone in open space.

Police questioned Premarajan and registered a complaint for not taking permission under three sections of the Indian Penal Code. The police had made it compulsory last year to take permission for people who want to fly drones from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the city police.
