She had been taken for treatment for her fever said The Times of India.After complications arose Shanmuga Sundaram, Ezhilarasi’s father tried treatment with a number of doctors beforing moving the district consumer disputes redressal forum for medical negligence. However, the complaint was dismissed. It was the state commission which awarded the compensation saying that the doctor responsible for the negligence could “neither rebut nor disprove it”,said the report.
