Watch: Why crashing the Earth's waste into the Sun may not be very practical

Ever wondered if we could simply take waste, especially nuclear waste, from Earth and crash it into the Sun? 

MinutePhysics explains why this is extremely hard for a number of reasons. 

One of them being that reaching the Sun from the Earth ain't easy even though the Sun's gravity is pulling us towards it.
