Watch: Sachin stumps his fans, joins a game of gully cricket on Mumbai’s streets

Gully cricket on the streets of Mumbai got better than ever thanks to Sachin Tendulkar joining a bunch of youngsters to swing his bat on Monday night. In a video shared by former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli, the legend can be seen stepping out of his car to be greeted by a group of players. He then proceeds to the barricade-stump to join the game.

Sachin plays a few backfoot defensive shots after which motorists stop to greet him. A woman can be heard shrieking 'SACHIIIN' at the end of the video. He also cheerfully poses for a selfie, gives autographs and brandishes his bat to the camera.

Sachin is also the brand icon of Mumbai Indians for the ongoing IPL season is known for going on late-night drives. Mumbai Indians have not won a single match this IPL season. They are set to take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore  on Tuesday.

He has also previously stumped motorists by rolling down his car windows and telling them about the importance of wearing helmets.

The video shared by Kambli with the caption "Master Blaster good to see you enjoying old times," has since gone viral with fans going crazy and retweeting the video.

It’s so great to see the Master Blaster spread his love for the sport not just at Wankhede stadium, but also on the gullies of Mumbai.
