Kadapa came to a standstill on Thursday as superstar Nagarjuna arrived in the town for a shoot. Drumbeating crowds welcomed the actor. 

Nagarjuna made brief appearances through the sunroof of his Audi, waving at his supporters and lapping up all the attention. 

Hordes of fans could be seen milling around his car, waving hands and taking photos through their camera phones. 

People also threw yellow rose petals at his car from the rooftops of their houses. The heavy police presence did little to diminish the enthusiasm of the crowds.
