Video: It was time for a celestial wedding in Madurai's Meenakshi Amman temple

Madurai witnessed the celestial wedding of Meenakshi Amman and Lord Shiva today during the Chithirai Thiruvizha held every April. The 15-day celebration also includes Meenakshi Amman's coronation and a grand car rally. Over 20 LED Screens were installed across the city for crowds to witness the procession.
