Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam is alive, kicking and has been in the news recently. The fact however, seems to be lost on Jharkhand’s education minister Neera Yadav, who paid her respects to Kalam, and garlanded his picture at an event on Monday.The Prabhat Khabar has carried a picture of the minister at the event on Monday.The BJP leader was reportedly at an inauguration event at a school in Hazaribagh. The paper mentions that she “paid her respects” to the former President at the event, while the picture speaks for itself.The irony of the situation was not missed by the newspaper either and they mentioned as much, saying: “She does not even know that Dr Kalam is still alive.”In closing, the publication also wished a long life to Kalam.
