Federer master of grass, but Salman of all courts: Twitter erupts over actor’s acquittal

In a keenly watched verdict, Salman Khan was pronounced not guilty in a blackbuck poaching and illegal arms possession case by a Jodhpur court on Wednesday.

The court said the superstar was acquitted due to lack of evidence. 

In October 1998, a case was registered against Salman for allegedly possessing arms with expired licenses and also charged for poaching two blackbucks during the shoot of Sooraj Barjatya's Hum Saath Saath Hain.

The case was registered under sections of the Arms Act after a complaint by the state Forest Department.
