Bullet-ridden bodies of three youths found in Baramulla in Jammu & Kashmir

The bodies of three youths were found on Monday in an orchard in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said in Srinagar.

Troubled locals, who found the bodies said that they bore bullet injuries and torture marks.

According to a report in Tehelka, the three youngsters were in their early 20s and  their bodies were recovered from Dangerpora on Nihalpora-Wailoo road.

"The bodies of three youths have been found in an apple orchard in Chour (Dangerpora) village in Baramulla district. They were aged between 17-21," a police officer told IANS.

Locals said none of the three youths had so far been identified.

The police officer said a probe was on to find the cause of the deaths.

Investigators are also reportedly ascertaining whether the youth were affiliated to any insurgent factions in the valley.
