According to a Malayala Manorama report, PC George and KM Mani have come to a consensus on the appointment of the new Chief Whip.Thomas Unniyadan has consecutively won the last three assembly elections from Irinjalakuda. A lawyer by profession, he has also served as the president of Kerala Congress (M) Youth Front, apart from being the president of Vaikkom Bar Association.PC George was on Tuesday removed from the post, following an-going tiff with Finance Minister KM Mani.
