Seniors beat up juniors for not cutting hair, ragging case filed in Kerala

The News Minute |September 18, 2014 |10.45 am ISTFour students of the Priyadarshini College college in Malappuram district in Kerala have been booked by the police for ragging.Two first year students Sanoop and Junaid were beaten up by four final year BBA students for not cutting their hair. The two were ordered by the four seniors last week to get their heads tonsured. Seeing that the two had not done that, four senior students brought a scissor to cut their hair. When the two protested they were beaten up. Sanoop and Junaid have been admitted in the government hospital. Sanoop has broken his hand's bone. The Malappuram police have registered a case against the four final year students.
