PC George’s tongue is his own enemy, says Kodiyeri

CPI(M) Kerala state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Wednesday said that six -time MLA PC George's real enemy was not the party, but his own tongue.

This comes after on Tuesday, PC George was quoted in The Hindu, saying, “I won’t say it is a payment seat. But the earlier decision to field me from Poonjar was changed after some moneybags landed in Thiruvananthapuram,” after he was denied a seat from Poonjar.

George was the ruling MLA from the Poonjar constituency and the chief whip of the government before resigning in November over the Kerala Bar Scam.

The rebel Congress (Mani) leader was ousted from his party following his resignation.

The Left front is expected to out a consolidated list of candidates in a couple of days after discussions with all its allies.
