Written by : TNM Staff

Pinarayi Vijayan, the CPI(M) polit bureau member and Kerala state general secretary has alleged that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is playing a role in the reported RSS- Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP) alliance.

As per The Times of India report, Vijaayan, who was addressing media in Kozhikode, said that Chandy expects favours from the RSS to return to power in Kerala. “In return, Chandy has promised to help the RSS-BJP to open its account in Kerala assembly," he said.

The veteran CPI(M) leader further alleged that in a recent UDF meeting, Chandy refused to react against SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan, who abused KPCC president V M Sudheeran.

“The RSS has done several experiments to gain an upper hand in Kerala. It mounted attack on the CPI(M) after the RSS realised that the Left is the stumbling block for its growth in Kerala,“ he said as per TOI report.

He also asked secular forces in Kerala to stop the unholy alliance between Chandy and RSS.

TOI further reports that V S Achuthanandan, the state opposition leader has alleged that chief minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala were trying to float an alliance with the BJP using the SNDP Yogam.
