Indians and mainly Malayalis (or people from Kerala) mass trolled New York Times on their Facebook page, finally forcing NYT to apologise for the cartoon. Much of the trolling was organised, in fact it was named 'Operation Red' by a creative Malayali who started it.The latest Facebook pages to be targeted by mass trolling are some from Pakistan. Why? A Separatists Kashmiri group on Tuesday hacked into the personal blog of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. The hackers uploaded an image of Pakistani flag, separatist slogans and threats to the Indian State for about 25 minutes on the site. Mohanlal fans are angry and what better way to take it out than declare war on Facebook. Logging on from their desktops, tablets and mobiles, many valiant Malayalis have taken on the task of trolling the Pakistan Defence FB page amongst others.Hundreds of comments are being posted every hour, many clearly abusive. But this time the trolling is taking an ugly turn with many Pakistanis opposing the comments and hurling abuses in return.
