KAAPA gets Mohammed Nisham shifted to Kannur jail

The News Minute | March 23, 2015 | 11.00 am ISTMohammed Nisham, owner of King Group of companies, arrested for the murder of Chandrabose, a security guard in Kerala, has been shifted to Kannur Central Jail on Sunday.According to the reports, Nisham will be lodged in a single cell in the high-security Block 10 of the prison.Nisham was shifted to Kannur as according to law a person slapped with Kerala Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act (KAAPA) cannot not be kept in a jail in home district.Read : Beedi tycoon Nisham charged under KAAPA law.
