Eight Keralites in Forbes 100 richest Indians

Mukesh Ambani has managed to retain the first place this year also. Though the Kerala government is in financial crisis, eight people from Kerala have made it into the top 100. The richest Malayali in the list is Ravi Pillai, the Chairman and CEO of RP Group of companies. With a total worth of Rs. 16,800 crore, he ranks 30th in the overall list. With an overall rank of 40, M.A. Yousuf Ali is the second richest Malayali in the Forbes list. With a total worth of Rs. 13,800 crore, he is the Managing Director of Lulu Group. Founder and Chairman of GEMS Education Sunny Varkey is the third richest Malayali with a 55th rank in the list. He has a worth of Rs. 10,800 crore.P.N.C. Menon of the Sobha Developers is the fourth richest Malayali with an overall rank of 70. He has a total worth of Rs. 8,400 crore. Other Malayalis in the richest 100 Indians are T.S. Kalyana Raman of Kalyan Jewellers, M.G. George Muthoot, Chairman and MD of Aster DM Healthcare Dr. Azad Mooppan and the founding member of Infosys S.D. Shibulal.
