Written by : TNM

The News Minute | April 6, 2015 | 7 pm ISTThe solar scam case has taken a new turn with the main accused Saritha Nair making conflicting statements about a letter she allegedly wrote exposing the politicians – Member of Parliament Jose K Mani in particular – who allegedly sexually abused her.For several months now there has been speculation about a 46-page letter that Nair allegedly wrote exposing politicians who abused her. On Monday evening, she spoke to two Malayalam news channels after two pages of the letter were leaked to the media. The contents of the letter, and also the person to whom it was addressed are unverified. The letter reportedly contains details of how she was allegedly sexually abused by Jose K Mani, who is a Member of Parliament and Finance Minister K M Mani’s son and also mentions that she was forced to perform sexual act with someone (from the leaked letter it is not clear who is been talked about).Jose K Mani has denied these allegations and said that he will take action.Nair repeatedly told Mathrabhoomi at around 6 pm that she had not written any such letter. She said: “I have not written such a letter. Why are you repeatedly asking me this, because it will make a good headline?” However, minutes before, she told Reporter TV that she did in fact, write the letter.
