Two arrested in Bangalore for posting abusive comments on woman's Facebook page

The News Minute | November 3, 2014 | 08:54 am IST Two men have been arrested by the Banashankari police for posting abusive statements on a woman's Facebook page, states a report by Bangalore Mirror. The woman is said to be the daughter of a singer in Bangalore 'who accused Raghaveshwara Bharati, seer of Ramachandrapura Mutt of raping her', adds the report. The men, who the woman claims also threatened her, have been booked for criminal intimidation and under section 66 A of the IT Act (punishment for sending offensive messages through communication service).
