First H1N1 death reported in Bengaluru

The News Minute | February 7, 2015 | 11:14 am IST A 35-year-old woman, hailing from Hoskote, on Friday died from the H1N1 flu in Vaidehi Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru.  This is the first reported case of H1N1 death in the city this year, states a report by The New Indian Express. According to sources in the Health Department, 37 positive cases for H1N1 has been recorded in Bengaluru since January this year, adds the report. Hospitals across the city have been asked to take necessary precautions.
