Child slapped 20 times allegedly by school principal

The News Minute | August 7, 2014 | 11.05 am ISTThe father of a 15-year-old boy has lodged a complaint with the Bangalore police, accusing that his son had been slapped over 20 times by the school principal.According to a report in The Times of India, the Cubbon Park police registered a case against the principal under non-cognizable sections of the Indian Penal Code. This means that the accused cannot be arrested without a warrant.According to the complaint, the principal entered the class of the boy on Tuesday, and pointed him out and began to slap him. The father said in the complaint that his son was bleeding from the nose when he came home.
