The News Minute | January 12, 2015 | 09:06 am IST The Bengaluru Police on Saturday arrested a fourth Indian Mujahideen suspect at the Mangalore International Airport, states a report by The New Indian Express. The suspect, 32-year-old Riyaz Ahmed Sayeedi, was held just before he was about to board a Dubai-bound Jet Airways flight. According to the police, Sayeedi, a resident of Bhatkal, is a close relative of IM chief Riyaz Bhatkal. Sayeedi was working as a sales representative for a computer hardware firm in Dubai for the last 10 years and had come to Bhatkal two weeks ago, states the report. He was about return to Dubai the day he was arrested. The police suspect that Sayeedi could be involved in some blast cases across the country. After his arrest on Saturday, the police questioned him in Mangaluru and brought him to Bengaluru on Sunday. “The operation was based on the information provided by the three terror suspects — Syed Ismail Afaq, Saddam Hussain and Abdus Saboor — who were arrested recently", Bengaluru City Police Commissioner M N Reddi said, told The New Indian Express.
