Bengaluru college student stabbed to death in broad daylight

Harsha, a student in the second year of a diploma course at PES University, was attacked in broad daylight and stabbed by a group of unidentified persons at around 2 pm on Tuesday. Harsha succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning. 

According to the police, the yet-unidentified attackers accosted Harsha near the PES University campus in Banashankari, hit him on the head with an iron rod and then stabbed him. 

The Hanumantha Nagar police have registered a case of murder and have begun investigation into the case.

However, the police have not identified the attackers so far. An officer investigating the case said that CCTV footage from the cameras in the locality is yet to be recovered. He added that the motive for the crime is also yet to be ascertained. 

After the attack, Harsha was first rushed to KIMS hospital. Following this, he was admitted to JD Hospital, but did not respond to treatment and died on Wednesday morning.
