A 21-year-old Flipkart delivery boy, who was allegedly harassed by the transgender community, was found dead at Baiyappanahalli railway station on Wednesday morning.

According to Bangalore Mirror report, the deceased, identified as William Moses, was a resident of Gajendra Nagar in Baiyappanahalli and had gone missing since April 28.

Moses’s friend, John Pinto told the police that the deceased had some connections with the transgender community.

According to TOI report in April-end, the group came to Moses’ house and asked him to marry one of the sisters of the transgenders. Following this, Moses reportedly left the house.

“On April 28, Moses had come to me and handed over his purse and wallet, saying he would return in sometime,” said Pinto, who filed a missing complaint when Moses did not return.

The transgenders also started distributing missing notices around the area, said the police.

The railway cops recovered a mutilated body from the tracks but could not ascertain the identity. They sent the body to the morgue and the family was alerted after they filed a complaint, reported TOI.

Police said that further investigations are on.
