The News Minute | November 1, 2014 | 09:01 am IST The deadline to implement safety measures, issued by the Bangalore police commissioner, in schools got over on Friday, and not all schools have been able to execute the safety directives. Schools- government, private and aided- say they need more time and funds, states a report by The New Indian Express. Though some schools have begun with implementing safety directives like installation of CCTV cameras in the institution's premises and issuing identity cards to parents, several are unable to do so because of financial crunch. The New Indian Express also states 'some schools have taken undertakings from teachers which state teachers are responsible for any sexual assault on the school premise'.
