Bangalore police register complaint against man who called for a woman to be raped

The News Minute | July 29, 2014 | 11.16 pm ISTActivist Prabha N’s complaint against a man who called for “women like her to be raped by rapists” has been registered by the Bangalore police.Late on Monday, the Chandra Layout police registered a complaint against V R Bhat under Sections 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 109 (abetment, if the act abetted is committed) of the IPC and under section 66 (A) of the IT Act (sending offensive messages through communication service).Speaking to The News Minute on Monday, Prabha said that Bhat had made those comments on her Facebook wall on Sunday.
