Bangalore City railway station to provide WiFi to passengers

The News Minute | October 29, 2014 | 02:04 pm IST The Bangalore City railway station will now provide WiFi facility to passengers.  A PTI report states that users can use the wifi facility on their phones for free for the first thirty minutes and for further use they will be given an option to buy a scratch card. Scratch cards, which will be made available  at the WiFi Help Desk, are priced at Rs 25 and Rs 35 for 30 minutes and one hour respectively, both valid through 24 hours. 'RailWire - the retail Broadband distribution model of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd, a PSU of Railway Ministry, is involved in distribution of internet bandwidth through WiFi', adds the report.
