The News Minute| February 12, 2015| 11.00 am ISTAs the Aam Aadmi party's victory became clear when the counting was progressing, things started heating up in many TV studios too. BJP and Congress spokespersons who found themselves on the back-foot, were left with the tough job of defending their parties. But Shazia Ilmi who recently joined the BJP, after having left the AAP, spent most of the time defending her decision to join the BJP. When Ilmi appeared at the NDTV studio, India Today Consulting Editor and senior journalist Shekhar Gupta poked fun saying her 'defections' have made people says, "Aaya Ilmi, Gaya Ilmi", instead of "Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram."But Ilmi seemed to be in no mood to allow the battering and took potshots back. She said,"I know your political affiliations too Guptaji. Aaya Ambani, Gaya Ambani, but I won't say that, I am too decent."When Shekhar Gupta intervened saying he was talking on the basis of facts, Ilmi countered saying she too was talking on basis of facts, She also called the journalist a wheeler dealer.Watch video from 4:30.Tweet
