The News Minute | August 14, 2014 | 02:33 pm ISTGone are the days when photographers were considered a close-knit group, who appeared like magicians during weddings and events, flashing their cameras everywhere and capturing time in frames.Today, thanks to innovation in technology, photography is no longer limited to professionals. In a good way, it has paved the way for amateur photographers to try their hand at this art. Spotting a DSLR has become as common as it can get, but does that guarantee quality work? Has the camera become more important than the photograph? Anish Chakraborty from Kolkata, recently uploaded an album on his Facebook page called Photo Man. His photographs are his humourous insights into the DSLR generation that are skilled at making a subject out of almost anything. The album ‘is a light satirical way to show that when people use their "dslr" without paying heed to what they take pictures of”. And ‘ "photo man" is a person with a dslr . He has a super power. He owns a dslr", Chakraborty writes on his page. His album is receiving a lot of appreciation and a lot of hits. Here are some of the photographs from Photo Man. (All images courtesy: Anish Chakraborty Facebook Page )
