Written by : TNM

It’s been a very busy year for Vikram, who has been literally jumping from one film set to another and working tirelessly. He began work early this year on Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram, and after shooting a couple of schedules, he commenced work on Vijay Chander’s Sketch. Having recently wrapped up Sketch, which also stars Tamannaah, Vikram has recommenced work on Gautham’s film from Thursday in Chennai. According to reliable sources, the shoot of the film is currently underway in Triplicane. As soon as he wraps up Dhruva Natchathiram, he will begin shooting for Saamy 2.

Vikram will return as the foul-mouthed cop Aaru Saamy in Saamy 2, which will see him him reunite with director Hari after a decade. Trisha and Keerthy Suresh have been confirmed as the leading heroines. The supporting cast includes Prabhu, Delhi Ganesh and Soori. Harris Jayaraj has been confirmed to compose the tunes.

Apparently, the principal shooting will start from September 15 and the makers plan to shoot the film across various locations such as Delhi, Noida, Agra, Jaipur, Nainital and Kathmandu among other places.

Vikram hopes to have one release later this year and it’s most likely to be Sketch, which is an out-and-out commercial. He plays a spy in Dhruva Natchathiram, which was originally planned with Suriya and later with Jayam Ravi. For Saamy 2, he will sport a twirled moustache and makers are contemplating a new look.
