Vijay turns down Sundar C’s most ambitious project

Written by : TNM Staff

Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay is not in the mood to experiment, especially after the debacle of Puli.

When filmmaker Sundar C approached him with an offer to star in his next project, which is rumoured to be India’s most expensive project, he wasn’t prepared to be turned down.

However, Vijay’s decision to turn down the offer came as a shocker for Sundar C who, despite locking a script and putting together the technical team, is yet to finalize his leading hero.

Vijay had declined the offer because he was expected to set aside nearly a year on this project. Vijay felt it wasn’t reasonable to spend so much time on a single project nowadays and hence, was left with no option than turning down the offer.

Having already been turned by Suriya, it would be interesting to see with whom Sundar will make the film which is tipped to be made on a budget of Rs. 350 crore.

The project will feature music by A.R Rahman, apart from many talents from across the country. It also happens to be the prestigious 100th project of Thenandal Films.
