An important schedule of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been wrapped up recently. According to the film’s cinematographer R Rathnavelu, the 35-day schedule has come to an end, which will be the most important sequence in the film. According to sources close to the film unit, the war sequence between the British soldiers and Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s army was shot during this 35-day period and it will be the highlight of the film.

Starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role, Sye Raa will trace out the life of the legendary freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who fought the British rule valiantly much before the Sepoy Mutiny in 1858.

Reports are doing rounds that a top actor is in talks with the makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy for a special song. Once the deal is through, the makers will be revealing the name of the actor, we hear from sources. Directed by Surendhar Reddy, Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crores.

When the film was announced last year, AR Rahman was on board to compose music but he eventually walked out citing date issues. There were various speculations on who would compose music for Sye Raa and now it has been revealed that Amit Trivedi will be wielding the music baton.

This music composer from Bollywood is credited with films such as Wake Up Sid, Dev D, Udaan, Aisha, No One Killed Jessica, English Vinglish, etc. He is all set to make his debut in the Kannada film industry with Butterfly and in Tamil with Paris Paris. Amit Trivedi’s debut in the Telugu film industry will be with Sye Raa.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen in a guest role. The others in the star cast are Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film.
