Suriya makes way for brother, postpones Singam 3

Written by : TNM

When most stars are vying for a solo release during a big festival, Singam Suriya has turned out to be an exception. The actor's Singam 3 aka S3, third part in the popular franchise, was originally planned to be released around Diwali this year. However, in a sudden turn of events, the highly anticipated cop film has been pushed to December.

When we did some digging, and contrary to reports, the film is not being postponed due to delay in its completion. However, to facilitate solo release of Karthi (Suriya's brother) starrer Kaashmora, which has already garnered a lot of attention thanks to the exclusive posters that were released recently, S3 has been postponed. Although it's true that the makers of Suriya-starrer are yet to complete the project; it's being said the film will be wrapped by this month-end.

S3, which is helmed by Hari, is likely to hit the screens during Christmas and might end up being the sole star-studded release at the box-office at that time.
