Actor Simbu aka Silambarasan is also popular for his singing ability. Over the years, the star has delivered several chartbusters such as En Aasai Mythiliae, Loosu Penne and Diamond Girl among other songs. Always open to the idea of singing for other actors, he has now recorded a foot-tapping ‘kuthu’ number in G.V Prakash Kumar’s Bruce Lee, an action comedy that has been directed by debutant Prasanth Pandiyaraj.

On Wednesday, Simbu recorded the song in Prakash’s studio and according to trusted sources, he recorded the whole song in just two hours. This is the third time Simbu has crooned in Prakash’s composition. Meanwhile, Simbu has also recorded a song for his next film, Anbaanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan, set to music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

On the acting front, Simbu awaits the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Accham Yenbathu Madamaiyada. For Adhik Ravichandran-directed Anbaanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan, he’s currently gaining weight to play one of the roles. He essays a triple role in the film, which is tipped to be a romantic thriller.
