Actress Shruti Haasan, who is currently basking in the success of Premam, has joined the sets of Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayuda, a remake of Ajith-starrer Veeram, in Hyderabad on Friday.

After wrapping up the day’s shoot, she interacted with the media on Premam’s success and on reuniting with her co-star Pawan Kalyan after Gabbar Singh. When someone asked if she minds being part of a remake instead of an original script, she said she doesn’t mind being called Remake Rani. In her career so far, she has starred in seven remakes including the latest Pawan Kalyan-starrer.

“I’ve done so many remakes in my career that I don’t hesitate calling myself a Remake Rani,” she said. Talking about Premam which left her under constant scrutiny from the beginning of the project, she explained she never felt the pressure because she comes from the Haasan clan and she’s been exposed to pressure from a very young age.

Talking about working with her father Kamal Haasan in upcoming trilingual comedy, Sabash Naidu, she said, “It’s for the first time I’m saying lines in three languages back to back. And when they run into pages, you feel like you are going through some mathematics or physics exam. It was challenging but nonetheless a learning experience.”
