Sandalwood actors on ‘Wanted’ posters? Hold your horses, there’s a twist

Written by : TNM Staff

Wanted posters have been appearing all over Bengaluru but the Karnataka police aren’t looking for those ‘criminals’. Frankly, the ‘criminals’ look like a million bucks.

Actors Hemanth Hegde, Vijay Surya, and Samyukta Hornad are ‘wanted’ by the Karnataka police. But as it turns out, they’re posters for the film Sa, as the main accused in the ‘Gurutara’ case.

Originally named ‘Matthome Ssh’, the film was then titled ‘Sa’. These posters have been released even as the horror movie awaits release.

However, the posters say that they have released by the Karnataka Police.

Asked if it was all right to invoke the name of the police in this manner, Bengaluru Police Commissioner NS Megharikh said that if the censor board had okayed the posters,  there was nothing the police department could do. He also added that if the censor board were to complain then the police department would take necessary action.
